Abstract

The phenol, sugar and protein contents in healthy and leaf galls of three species of Ficus viz. F. religiosa, F. glomerata and F. infectoria were quantitatively estimated. While there was a reduction in phenol and protein contents in leaf galls, the total sugars increased.
