Abstract

Marriage, one of the most critical elements in the development of society, is also the key component in the construction of national culture (Ai Qin,1986). Moreover, the study of marriage changes has been one of the hottest topics in ethnology research (Wang Jun and Zhang Jianjun, 2010). This study explores the marriage custom changes of Oroqen nationality over time since the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949. Specifically, the study will focus on exploring the changes in the Oroqen intermarriage circle and the marriage tie process. Meanwhile, based on literature review research, this text applies the Social Changes Theory of Karl Marx, proceeds from the vision of Ethnology, analyzes Oroqen Marriage changes, and probes into the original cause and tendency of such changes. The research explores the natural causes that lead to Oroqen marriage changes, which will benefit national and ethnic policies and build a harmonious society between Han Nationality and other Chinese minorities.
