Abstract

The present communication deals with the study of Moniezia (B) aishvaryaen n.sp. The scolex globular, distinctly marked off from the strobila bearing four suckers, testes small to medium oval 255-265 (262) in number, ovary large a sinlge mass having 9-10 acini, vitelline gland almost quadrangular in shape postovarian having 5-7 acini, interproglottidal glands small, oval, arranged either in transverse row or in transverse pair, 43-46 in number. Presence of excretory canals in segment run laterally.
