Abstract

With the increasing stresses of corporate life, there has been an increasing focus in the corporate world in trying to ensure employee well-being, beyond just financial security. However many of these attempts, such as in-house gyms, office events and picnics, or flexible working hours are surface level solutions. They work on the symptoms but do not heal the malady at its roots. The perspective of integral wellness can help organisations truly ensure their employees’ holistic well-being and provide long-term solutions to the root causes of work-related stress.
